A lovely microsite done by Ars Thanea for Bacardi. I really like way that the navigation works between different sections and how you can drag the interface to navigate around. The design is simple, yet very glamorous with some really nice 3D animations.

Diablo 3. Not only this is a highly anticipated game from my end, since I was a huge fun of the previous 2, but the official website has a very good design that is impressive. Is a hybrid, a mixture of Flash and Html, but with very rich graphics and a user friendly layout and structure. Every graphic and flash animations is very well done with good attention to details. Plenty of content can be discovered along with some great concept art and screenshots of the game. And most importantly you can also see the awesome Cinematic Teaser.

Frame is a design and motion graphics house specializing in all fields of high-end design, animation and commercials. Their portfolio work is purely brilliant, and is very well presented. Their website has a simple, clean but still attractive design that let’s the work to stand out. But most impressive part is the coding behind it which delivers smooth animation and sorting functionality of the portfolio work, which is very user friendly and enjoyable to use.
Designed by Gmtn.dk, and coded by Flexmotion.dk.

The online Flash Experience for the Haze video game, and one that’s really well done. One of the few experiences that I really liked and went through it all. It has a really good use of video, which loads very smooth & fast, and some excellent sound effects. The graphics & design are not over the top but still good enough to support the experience and always remain in brand. It has some really interesting effects as well, such as when the cursor shakes in some cases, just for spicing up the experience and not for being fancy. The online games are also very addictive, easy to follow and function perfectly. Overall this is a very user-friendly experience which is easy to follow through and i think it delivers the entire point of the game very successfully. Enjoy.

Now, this is a very nice way for promoting an e-commerce shop. This Flash Site stands as a promotional / product experience site for engaging and then directing visitors to the actual e-commerce site. Very smooth use of video and very interesting design.

A very impressive work done by B-Reel for the Magnum Manor campaign, starring Eva Longoria. It’s targeted towards female consumers of Magnum ice cream, but the execution is pretty impressive with the use of full online Video. They shot everything on Green screen and the environemnts are all fully CG. Really nicely done.

Latest from Big Spaceship. This site has a great use of video and the feel of 3D space. Not sure if is Papervision3D or just good ActionScript but the overall site works very smoothly. It has some really nicely done interactions as well and an overal playfulness to it. A simple and very effective promotional website.

A couple months back at Lightmaker we launched the official website for the ‘Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix’ videogame. An experiential experience which takes users on a journey through the magic of Hogwarts. Authenticity was certainly recreated in the website as users are required to practice and cast spells across the site in order to unlock content. Hogwarts was recreated in our 3D studio from assets supplied and there is a narrative journey to accompany the user as they move through Hogwarts. Other features include several DS mini games, integration with the Wizarding Widget and content that has been localised for 18 territories. I was the Lead Designer of the project and to-date this is one of the most creative projects I’ve ever worked on.
