A new spot for Philips coolshave razor, with a very sci fi approach to it. Sensual and emotional the same time, is a very nice combination of CG and live action. It was directed by Bruno Aveillan from Quad in Paris and Short-films in London, and the post-production was from Wizz and 3D work by Exvoto.

One of my most favorite and most creative TV Ads, The Happiness Factory was the highest rated global spot that the Coca-Cola company has ever done, winning major awards like the Silver Lion at Cannes 2007 advertising awards and even an Emmy nomination in the United States. It is the kind of advertisement that you want to enjoy in really high quality to see all those details and characters that take part to this short and enjoyable spot. You can instantly see how much love, effort and creativity went on the this animation from it’s creators, the agency Wieden+Kennedy and the animators from Psyop.
Following the ad, a mockumentary was created that takes you behind the scenes to get to know better the characters and their responsibilities among the Happiness Factory. Is a really enjoyable clip and really gets you into the story. You can see it here.
The most recent addition to the series is the Happiness Factory Movie, but this time instead of a spot is a short film where the story goes epic when the factory runs out of coke. The creators pushed their limits with this one, by the use of state-of-the-art animation techniques. They have really delivered some fantastic details and stunning visuals.
