BlueObjectDesign is the portfolio of Benjamin Yarnell from Denver, which includes some really good graphic design. The main focus of his work is related to music and he does a lot of album cover art. What I really love about his work is his great skills in photo manipulation to accomplish his final visuals. A lot of he designs are gothic, dark and overall strange, something that I really like, however he does shows some small variety of a more glamorous design work for a change.

I’m currently working on this painting that I call ‘Hidden’, which is based on hidden secrets or demons. Is a promising piece and I’m rather confident on it. My latest progress of it is as you can see above. You can also follow it’s development from the links below at various art forums.

I just saw Transformers the movie and was blown away. Definitely for me THE best movie of the year.
Visual effects are just amazing… although I was getting confused all the time which robot is which when they where fighting. Storyline is good and engaging. Is not just a visual effects fest and is not much away from the original animated movie. It introduces the viewers to the transformers story, and how they interact with the world and delivers their personalities and relationships between them and the humans. All in a very good and fun way, instead of focusing only in action sequences from the start.
The cast is great. Everybody fits nicely and has the appropriate humor and seriousness for their part. I liked the main guy, Shia LaBeouf. Has an appropriate innocence and good humor for his role. As for the main girl, Megan Fox… a pleasure to watch! :)
Directed by Michael Bay, one of my favorite directors, so it was not a surprise that the direction for Transformers was a great one. Good action sequences, blended with nice slow pace motions, with humor and dramatic elements. He always makes great entertainment and makes sure that the music fits perfectly with the direction.
Overall, this movie is purely amazing and can’t wait for the sequel.
